FOTO - Latvian beach football team

Latvian National Beach Football Team will face Estonia on Sunday 24 May at 13:00 at Pernava seashore near SPA hotel. That is the only preparation for Latvian side before FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup European zone qualification matches, sarting on 7 June with Spain hosting match against Latvia at Castellon de La Plana.

Friendly against Estonia will be longer in time than usual to test players in different positions, tactics and better prepare for Spain, says Latvian National Beach Football Team head coach Valts Bumanis.

Latvia will fly to Spain on 4 June, preparing for Spain, Check Republic and Romania group matches. "They are strong, but nothing is impossible - last year we lost to Check Republic 5:7, but it could be otherwise. Romania lost to everyone last year, but Spain is number 2 in ranking," V.Bumanis comments.
