Māris Verpakovskis agrees Ergotelis deal

One of the best Latvian forwards Maris Verpakovskis will continue his career in Greece. The Latvian signed a two year deal with Greek club Ergotelis. He will be loaned out from Dinamo Kiyv, who has a contract with the player until 2012.

29 years old Latvian striker is one of the most popular players in Latvia and lead the national team into the 2004 European championship finals.

Verpakovskis spent last season in Spanish club Celta de Vigo, but there he lost the confidence of the manager and played only a few matches.

In his career Verpakovskis had played in Latvia, Croatia, Spain and Ukraine.

Few weeks ago Ergotelis also signed Lithuanian international Deividas Česnauskis.
