Latvian national football team midfielder Juris Laizāns is still on trial in Russian Premier league team FC Tom Tomsk.

Laizāns is one of the best players of this position in the country and Tomsk team coaches believe that the Latvian can reach his optimal condition and help the team a lot in the coming Russian Premiership season.

Tomsk sent home Romanian trialist Zaharia, who plays in the same position as J.Laizāns. And this means, that midfielder from Latvia has great chances to play in Top division of Russia in the coming season. He just needs to show all his best.

“He didn’t train with “Shinnik” in normal conditions, only on synthetic pitch with reserve team. And, as you know, it’s cold in Jaroslavl now. We will work with Laizāns. After some time we will see whether it’s  possible to bring him back to normal form”, - said Tomsk head coach Valerij Nepomnashcy.
