TrioBet Baltic League: Round of last 16 fixtures confirmed

The TrioBet Baltic League has confirmed the dates, kick-off times and in conjunction with Viasat, the chosen matches for TV broadcast for the round of last 16 on Viasat Sport Baltic.

The 1st leg matches will be played this year on the 22nd and 23rd of September, while 2nd leg matches will take place on 27th and 28th of October. There will be three different kick-off times, taking into account the availability of floodlights in the host stadiums for live coverage at this time of the year “Since not all stadiums have floodlights, we had to switch kick-off times to earlier time in order to finish the matches in daylight. The main factor in choosing the games for TV coverage, however, was to ensure that a fair share of matches from all countries is shown on Viasat Sport Baltic. We hope the broadcasts will spark a great amount of interest”, - commented TrioBet Baltic League CEO Christian Happel.

The pairing of matches ensures that every team plays one match on Tuesday as well as one match on Wednesday to guarantee a fair and equal treating of all clubs.

Round of last 16 will have four live TV broadcasts on Viasat Sport Baltic, with at least one match broadcasted from each country. The opening broadcast of the season will be a match-up of Estonian newcomers Nõmme Kalju and Latvian Side SK Liepajas Metalurgs, who became Baltic League Champions in 2007.
