Latvian national futsal team head coach Artūrs Šketovs has announced 14 players list who will prepare for the first ever Baltic Futsal Cup tournament this weekend in Ogre Sports Centre hall.

As it was announced before, the first ever Baltic Futsal Cup between Latvian, Lithuanian and Estonian national men futsal teams will be held from December 26-28. Latvia will meet Estonia in a opening match of the tournament that makes it's debut and hope to become a tradition in the future.

BALTIC FUTSAL CUP 2008 schedule:
Matchday1 - Friday, December 26, 18:30 LATVIA - ESTONIA
Matchday2 - Saturday, December 27, 16:00 LITHUANIA - ESTONIA
Matchday3 - Sunday, December 28, 13:30 LATVIA - LITHUANIA

Venue - Ogres Sports Centre, 300 seats, field type - parket
Ogre - 40km from Riga to East (25 min by car)

As the preparation for European championship qualifying campaign Latvian National futsal team will play these matches against Estonia and Lithuania in Ogre, meanwhile for ECh qualifying round group B tournament Latvia will travel to Bulgaria in February 2009.

Neighbour and upcoming contender Estonia is in the same ECh qualifying group with host Bulgaria and Armenia, where only top two teams from the group will qualify for the main round.
