New Jurmala city stadium was left with 100 broken seats today and other damage was done to the construction of the stadium on Saturday, 31 May after the Lithuanian – Estonian national team Baltic Cup football match by both team supporters.

Latvian National team head coach Aleksandrs Starkovs and U-21 team head coach Genadijs Šitiks on Tuesday evening in SK "Ķeizarmežs" informed in the press conference about preparation process for Baltic Cup 2008 tournament that will be held from Thrusday - Sunday in Riga and Jurmala.

Baltic Cup 2008 for National and U-21 teams will start on May, 29th in Jurmala stadium when Latvian U-21 team takes on Estonia. Overall three fixtures played in group tournament system between National teams and three between U-21 teams to find out the strongest team in Baltics.
