Latvian champions FK Ventspils on Wednesday, July 25, takes on "The New Saints" FC from Wales in a battle to get through the first qualifying round in UEFA Champions League.

Last week FK Ventspils lost its first ever UEFA Champions League qualification game in history of the club, beeing defeted by FC "The New Saints" away 2:3. Both goals for Ventspils team was scored by striker Vits Rimkus. Latvian club needs to win with the suitable result to qualify for the next round, where Austrian "Red Bull Salzburg" (coached by famous italian Dzovanni Trapatoni) is now waiting for the winner in this pair.

Match will be played in Ventspils Olympic Centre Stadium (foto).
